Dunlevy was incorporated in 1914. Andrew and Mary Dunlevy came from England in 1884. They settled along the Monongahela River in Allen Township until it was deemed Dunlevy in 1914.
In the early 1900's soccer was introduced as a recreational sport for both adults and teenagers. The tradition continues today with an active youth soccer association.
